Together with Jade Kwan, Fai Au shared the experience of building homes for poor families in Conghua of mainland China at Metro Radio. Jade and Fai are the Habitat for Humanity Youth Build Ambassador 2013.
Fai Au has been appointed as Habitat for Humanity Youth Build Ambassador 2013. Together with 10000 volunteers all over the world, he will build homes for families in the poor regions of nine Asian countries. In April he will go to Liangkou Town, Conghua in mainland China to build homes for families in need.

In 2011 HKIA Annual Award Ceremony, O Studio Architects receives Medal of the Year for Projects outside Hong Kong from Mrs Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, GBS, JP, Secretary for Development of HKSAR.
This is the highest honor of all awards given by HKIA to members’ works of architectural excellence outside Hong Kong and setting an outstanding benchmark in architectural profession. O Studio Architects is the youngest practice winning this award category so far.

Fai Au and his Harvard GSD Teammates presented their finalist project for ULI/Gerald. D. Hines Urban Design Competition at the Museum of Contemporary Arts, San Diego. The presentation catalyzed an exciting discussion among the Jury panel and the general public.

Fai Au received his YAA award at the 2007 HKIA Annual Award Ceremony. The winning project, Fanling Classic Car Museum will be exhibited in Pacific Place, Admiralty from 26 April to 10 May 2008.
